At Homestead Real Estate Group, real estate has always been about more than buying and selling homes. It is about people, life transitions, community, and helping others navigate some of the biggest decisions they will ever make.

Founded by Rosa Griffin, who is known professionally and personally by most as Danielle, Homestead Real Estate Group was created from years of industry experience, leadership, and a desire to build something rooted in both professionalism and genuine connection.

After serving as a founding member of a brokerage she helped grow from the ground up, Danielle experienced a major life transition when her husband’s career changed and their family relocated from Marion County to Polk County. That transition became an opportunity to reflect on the evolving real estate industry and the type of brokerage culture she believed agents and clients still deserved.

While she valued the collaborative, relationship-driven environment she had spent years helping create, she also recognized the need for a more modern and adaptable approach to real estate as markets, technology, and economic conditions continued to evolve. 

Rather than building another traditional brick-and-mortar office, Danielle designed Homestead Real Estate Group as a modern online brokerage focused on flexibility, regional expertise, education, and strong communication while still maintaining the personal relationships that matter deeply in this industry.

The name “Homestead” was intentionally chosen because it represents more than property. A homestead is where life happens. It is where families grow, memories are built, businesses begin, and futures are planned. That meaning continues to shape the vision and foundation of the company today.

Serving Central Florida, Homestead Real Estate Group was built on the belief that real estate should never feel cold or transactional. Clients deserve honest guidance, market expertise, professionalism, and an advocate who genuinely cares about protecting their best interests throughout the process.

That same philosophy extends internally to the agents who join the brokerage. Through onboarding, mentorship, and continued education, Homestead intentionally focuses on building a team of professionals who share the same values, vision, and commitment to integrity. Relocating and starting over gave Danielle a renewed appreciation for what buyers and sellers experience during major life changes. The excitement, uncertainty, stress, and hope tied to a move are deeply personal, and that perspective continues to influence the way the brokerage serves clients and communities across Central Florida.
